window channel balance with matching top sash guide

A landlord from Irvine, California says:
I will need a pair of 27" channel balance with 9/16 width. Since the shoe measure 1", series 380 seems to be the closest. While the top is not an exact match and I lost one of the top sash guide I will need to replace both top guide. Will 18-065 top sash guide be a right choice? That look closer to the original. The marking on the original channel balance read
26 3 EV CMC 7. I do not know what brand is it.

It's hard to tell which top sash guide would be good. 18-065 is definitely a possibility, but you could also use our 18-012. You will have to carefully compare the dimensions we show to your own hardware and see how well they match up. The depth is especially important.
A quick learner from Irvine, California says:
Now I have another question about ordering the channel balance. How do I determine which option should I choose. What is the sash weight range. Is it the weight of the window the channel balance is holding or the strength of the spring? While the marking on it said 26 3 EV CMC 7. Will option 2640 sash weight range 19~26 be a close estimate?

Tom from SWISCO responded:
A stamp of 26 3 usually corresponds to our 2630 option. However, I highly recommend that you remove the sash from the window and place it on a scale to determine its actual weight. That way you can be sure that the option you choose is correct.
