window coils

Question

The windows were manufactured by Greaf. Not quite sure how to get the coils out, do I have put a cut in the back side of the track?

The manufacturer of this pivot shoe has discontinued it and replaced with the 15-191, which in turn uses our Series 160 coil balance spring. Look this hardware over and see what you think.
