window counter balance springs

Handy Person from Toronto

I have a couple of windows , about 30 years old about 22 inches wide. There are no manufacturer label on it, , one use a clock type flat spring with about 1/2 a dozen turns retracted.  The other use a spiro spring inside a cardboard tube. The nylon part (shoe?) is all cracked .  There are also a couple of swing out latches so I can get the outside clean without leaving the inside of the room, they are plastic and brittle. Is sending you pictures a way to ID the parts??

The windows were made by a company called Vinyl Window design in Toronto. I tried them already, no luck.

Yes, this is a photo identification service so we need clear and unobstructed photos of all parts you want to replace at minimum. Seeing them removed from the window is also necessary, and if possible we need to see them in undamaged condition. That would require using an identical window elsewhere in the house, if that's at all possible.
