window crank assembly

A home owner from stuart, florida says:
Have caradco window installed in late 1986. Are crank assemblies available for this vintage
window? And how difficult will it be to replace the assembly? Thanks

Bob from SWISCO responded:

I am pretty confident we can help, but I'd like to see your existing operator with the window open and from a bird's eye perspective, so I can see the link arm(s) and operator body in one picture. The video below shows how to remove and replace casement window operators. Yours may prove to be a different design, but the general principles should be the same.
