window crank operator

I have purchased the 39-025 window crank operator in the past but do I have to purchase the entire crank . The problem I am having is the crank handle seems to be stripped it turns but will not close the window it will only open the window

The handle that goes with our 39-025 is our 39-104. However, before you buy anything, remove the whole operator and check to see if any of the glass panels are binding. That often causes the handles to strip. Also give the tracks a spray of silicone so that they will move more freely.
