window crank and cover measurements

Question

Hi - i am looking to replace some old window cranks mainly due to them getting in the way of the blinds. I believe the folding crank would work but i am
concerned the handle fits just off center and therefore the old cut out of the frame would be exposed. any help appreciated. thanks

Hello there!

The 39-107FK handle is centered and I'm afraid it likely won't give the clearance you need for the blinds. The issue isn't the handle, it's the spline stem which always sticks out too far. In our experience blind installations must always be altered to accommodate existing casement window hardware.
