can we come up with a latch that will replace these latches on these old metal windows.

Thank you for reaching out to us. Is the installation hole center spacing for this lock 7/8"? If so, take a look at the 90-025 and 90-020. The 90-114 keeper is compatible with these locks. Review the specifications and see if they match your repair needs.
