We are concerned about the ability of this Awning Window to actually work on the window to which it will be applied. Are there any recommended weight or width maxims?
We have a rectangular old heavy wooden awning window whose width is about three-four feet wide and half that in height.
Thank you for a prompt response.

Thanks for posting. With these Awning Lever Operators like the 39-069, it is crucial to match the same size as your old operator--in this case, the wingspan should be 20-1/2" as specified on the product page. These operators aren't really meant for new applications, so if this is for a custom window, you're going to have to use your best judgment. We can't make any guarantees it will work.
