window lock

Question

There are a pair of these handles to lock the windows but they don't stay completely locked in place. Building was built in 1980.  Apartment is on the 40th floor and when there are strong winds, the handles move to an unlocked position.  Any suggestions?

This lock handle is pretty similar in design to our 38-054. I recommend looking over the pictures and dimensions we show for this part to ensure that they match up with yours. However, if they differ in any way, let me know how and I can try to find something better.
