window multipoint lock casement

Question

No markings, no name brand. Just a number 7 on the horizontal U part in sandstone. The lock lever moves loosely up and down without engaging.

Thanks for reaching out to us. Sounds like an issue with the lock itself, though you should test out the tie bar by hand to ensure that nothing there is loose, either. It's uncommon for these to break before the lock but not unheard of.

Regarding the lock, I recommend either our 38-095 or 38-096, depending on the size of the fork projection. The diagrams below will show our dimensions.
