In theory it should, however the back set might be different. The hole placements for the mounting screws might have to be moved up or back so the window will lock into place when closed. You might also have to get a carpenter or a window mechanic to install it for you.

If you are talking about the height of the trim being 1" tall, the 39-069 lever operator might work for you. The operator cut out should measure 3.032 inches (width) by 0.718 inches (height). You may want to talk to a local carpenter familiar with the window.

Looking on the website, the closest lever operator would be the 39-069 (20 1/2") (which could be too long for you). The next smallest would be the 39-037 (14") . I can't seem to find any lever operator that is exactly 18". You could possibly use the 39-037, it should fit in your window, but being a little smaller, the window won't open as far.

I have a customer who's looking for a replacement of this exact item, but its folded arm width is 18", with a window width of 20". Do you have any other sizes close to that?
