I am looking for these plastic caps that seem to hold the springs etc. in place.  Do you know what these are called and if they can be ordered.

It looks like you need a new top sash guide. Can you show us an undamaged version of yours removed from the window? Specifically, we'll need to see pictures that show the front and side of the top sash guide.
