window piece that helps to keep window up

Question

A small piece of medal which attaches to the rope which opens and closes the window.
this piece is medal and has fallen apart...therefore the window will not stay up and also is hard to shut.

Thanks for posting! It's hard to tell what kind of pivot shoe you have while it is still installed, but it looks somewhat similar to our 15-105. Does that look about right? Make sure to compare their dimensions.

If they do not match, or if you are not sure, we will have to see a few pictures of your pivot shoe as fully removed from the window jamb. We will also need to know its width and thickness.
