I thought it looks like a certainteed part pivot is much longer than I have seen in other windows

Hello,

It looks like you have the old discontinued Certainteed pivot bar that has been replaced with our 26-175. The new style pivot bar should be able to fit into the old pivot shoe as long the center cam is metal. Let us know how you make out with that.
