The windows are old but the window will not catch due to broken right and left  window catch that realizes for dropping window to clean

Hey there,

Thanks for posting! We do not have a direct replacement for these internal tilt latches and we aren't sure that these are made any longer, unfortunately. The good news is, we have a solution that will work to repair them. It will also make any future repairs a bit easier.

For this repair, we suggest converting the sash to use surface mounted latches. In the tutorial below, we suggest using the 26-228 and 26-229 but you'll need to look over their dimensions on the website to confirm that they'll be a fit on the top of the sash. We also supply a variety of different latches that will install the same way, if these are not a fit.
