Part is 13/16"x2" and has a catch that releases the catch to drop window for cleaning. the tab is broken off on this sample

Thanks for posting! I believe you may be able to replace this hardware with either the 26-119 Sash Release Lever or the 26-234 Tilt Latch Actuator. To determine which of these is the best fit for your repairs, you'll need to find an undamaged lever/actuator so that you can carefully compare the dimensions.
