window repair to get sashes working properly

upper sash will not stay up when the lower sash is raised. need to identify and check availability of the part that retracts the pivot shoe to hold window in place

Hmm...I am not sure I am familiar with what you are trying to describe to us. A photo or two of the part in question would be a great way to offer some clarity. Send us some photos and additional information so that we are all on the same page on what it is you are looking to replace.
