window replacement crank

Question

I am trying to find a suitable replacement crank for this old window. I don't really have any other info concerning the window.  I don't know what the original crank/part looked like nor did I appreciate any sort of brand for the apparatus. Any ideas to point me towards for something that would work? I know it kinda is a shot in the dark since I don't have a photo of the actual part in question or much helpful info to go on than a random picture..
