window replacement parts

I'm looking for a part for a window ? these are window seals that fit into the lower part of the upper window in a 2-window arrangement.

The seal fits into a slot in the wood frame in the upper window.

The problem: The installer painted the metal plate, which is on the lower frame, that sits against the seal. Over time, that paint and the seal stick together, so you can't slide the windows apart. See the second picture.



I know you like the bulletin board method, but I want to at least get this into my emails so that I can search for your web site ? I lost track of it.
