window sash pivot shoe?

Our window wont stay open and I assume it wont tilt properly

Thanks for posting. This looks like a 15-228 Pivot Shoe. It uses either the 1/2" thick Series 160 Coil Balance springs or the 3/8" thick Series 165 springs. See the videos on this page. Let me know if you have questions.
