window side locks so it only opens a small amount for protection

I have purchased Code 26-338 a sash stop but the outside is right but it does not go into the slot provided it is a millimeter to thick and I don't know what to do. Can you let me know if there is one that is just a tad thinner piece to go inside the sash. The outside is perfect and the same size

I'm afraid that we don't have an identical version of the 26-338 that's a little thinner. Believe it or not, there was a vent lock made a long time ago that might meet those specifications, but they haven't been available in years. It was also a different style so it may be unrelated.

I think your best bet is to just sand the side of our 26-338 down a little so that it may fit. However, keep in mind that if you alter the part in this way, it cannot be returned for a refund. See our return policy here for more information.
