I have Empire Pacific windows vinyl series 4200 installed in 2007. Some of the sliders fell off or aren't functioning well. I'd like to get new parts and have my handyman install them.

Hello,

With this combination of attachments, you could have either the S378, S380, or S385 channel balance. You’ll need to measure as shown below. The Series 380 has a 1" bottom attachment, and the Series 385 has a 1-3/32" attachment.

You'll also need to locate the stamp codes on your balances to choose the corresponding spring strength options for your replacement balances. Thank you, and let us know if you have any other questions or concerns.

Thank you! I've measured 1" so it is S380. I haven't located the stamped number though. There's nothing indicating 15-005 or anything else. What do you suggest I do next?

Great. If there are no stamp codes on the original balances, you'll need to weigh your sash to determine which option you'll need. There is a chart on the product page that explains how to choose your option based on the sash weight.
