See the 15-251 Single Support and S160-06 6.5 pound coil springs. Compare with your old hardware, see what you think.

My Single Support is only 2 1/2 to 2 3/4 high would it make a difference?

No, it shouldn't. Pivot shoe height doesn't really matter--there is, after all, plenty of room in the window track. If the width and thickness match, you should be fine.
