Looking to replace a set of springs as pictures, I can p/u the parts-thanks

This appears similar to our S600-20. Give it a look and let me know if you agree. Make sure all the dimensions match.

The diameter is about 1/2"

I recommend double checking that measurement. The balance should be either 3/8" or 5/8" (it may also measure 9/16", but this is considered 5/8" in the trade). There is no type of spiral balance that measures 1/2" in my experience.
