this is all that was in the track. its a single hung vinyl window. not sure what it is

Hi there!
It looks like you have an older rod type balance that isn't made anymore but our Series 775 channel balance uses the same shoe and can be used as a replacement. You'll just need to measure your bottom wedge and weigh your window sash to choose the appropriate spring strength option. There's a chart on the S775's product page that will show you which option you'll need based on the weight of your sash.
