window will not stay up.

Question

This is the part on the left hand side of the window.
Do you have a replacement??
If not exact do both sides need to be replaced with matching parts ?

Thanks for writing in! It would be advised to replace both assemblies so that the older hardware does not wear out the newer balances, faster than normal.

The assembly in your window can be replaced with the 15-180 Coil Balance Shoe. Carefully look review and compare the dimensions to determine which of these might be the best fit.

The compatible coil springs are the Series 190 Coil Balance Springs. You'll the 33-073 screw to attach them to the shoes as well ass the 15-181 Double Support Detent Clip and 15-182 Balance Bushing to secure them to the window track.
