The doors you helped me order pile insulation for turned out so well, I'm going for the old aluminum windows, too.
I think this is your part 58-002 in gray.
Looks like 3/16 x 3/16, no center fin.
What do you think, please? I'll need to order some.

They are 43 year old Milgard aluminum, single glazed sliding windows.

We believe the 58-021 may give your windows a better seal for the winter. Today, many window manufacturers are using the fin seal wool pile, as they too believe it offers more protection.

Personally, I hate any door that uses weather-strip with a fin. They cause a lot of drag, and the fin makes a crunching crinkling noise. I do live in California, so maybe really cold weather makes it worth it.
