Thank you for your patience as we looked into this further for you. I believe you may have the older style 55-301 glazing bead used for the 5/8" thick glass. It was very similar to the 55-303 but it doesn't have the long extension at the top of the beading. Take a look at the dimensions below and confirm if your glass thickness is 5/8".
Based on the information you provided, it sounds like the 55-301 new style glazing bead is the one you need.
