Our windows won't slide up or down.

A quick learner from Naples, Fl says:
We can't slide up some of our windows. There is some kind of plastic spring device that is broken. How can we replace this. The windows are made by Alcan. They are in good shape except for this.

Paul from SWISCO responded:
Many of the Alcan windows use our Series 380 balance with the top sash guide 18-161. See if those parts match your existing parts.

Submit a few photos if those parts do not match or if you are unsure. Photos would help us determine exactly what you need.

Also, watch our channel balance installation video to help you see how to work with channel balances.
