wool pile weatherstripping

Quick Learner from Maine
Hi,
I've got Simonton replacement windows that need the pile weatherstripping replaced. I know I need the width of the weatherstripping to be 3/16", but I'm not sure what height is correct; the pile is so crushed from being 14 years old that I can't tell how high it was originally. I attached a picture of the label on the window just in case those numbers tell you anything. I can't seem to find any info from the Simonton website

I'm afraid that sticker doesn't tell us anything. There likely won't be any kind of stamp or number that tells you what weatherstripping will work on your window. I've known some Simonton wool pile types that used our 58-001 or 58-127, but these are an educated guess. Both have a 3/16" base, at least.

I recommend ordering a couple different samples from this page. That way you can try a few out and see what works best. You can also see our complete selection of wool pile here

Thanks!
