yellow tip 3/8 diameter balances

I need to replace some yellow tip balances. The existing has two per jamb pocket. I dont see an option here for yellow, is there another color that will work for this balance weight? Also can you inform me what each colors weight limit is. Thanks.

Thanks for posting. I would be more than happy to help you figure out the right tip color. First, however, I will need to know the weight of your sash.

I have some at 70Lbs, 55 lbs, and 40 lbs. The 40 lbs sash have a single 5/8" diamter balance in each jamb pocket.

Those are very heavy windows! I'm afraid we don't have any S900-35 spiral balances that can support that kind of weight. Are you sure they are all that Series balance? You say that the 40 lb. sash has one that is 5/8" diameter, not 3/8". Can you please confirm the measurements of the balances for each window? We will need to know the diameter and length of the metal tube.

The heavy sash have two 3/8" balances in each jamb side, for a total of four per sash. Some lengths are 35", 32", and 40".

I'm still a little confused. However, we do recommend that you replace your balances with the same hardware as what was originally installed.

That said, could you please confirm the tube diameter and tube length of each individual balance, as they correspond to each sash weight? Once I have your confirmation of dimensions, I will recommend replacements.
