How to install the 39-268 wood window crank operator

Installation instructions for a wood casement window with an out-swinging sash with standard hinges.

Step 1

Mount the window crank operator against the jamb and parallel with the closed window sash.

Step 2

Mark the position of the operator's bracket on the window sash when the operator is fully opened and with the operator's bracket moved to the end of the operator's arm.

Step 3

With the sash closed, mount the operator's bracket in the position as marked; after checking that the operator's arm is parallel to the window sill.
