How to install a screen window plunger pin

This installation guide explains how to install plunger pins into window screen inserts.

  1. Drill the hole using a step down drill bit from the exterior edge of the window screen frame.
    Drill hole in the screen frame for the plunger pin.
  2. Insert the plunger pin and spring. Then snap on the plastic cap from the spline pocket edge of the screen frame.
    Insert the plunger pin and spring into the screen frame.
