Simonton windows

Question

Hello! I need to order some replacement parts for a Simonton window from the early 2000s. Unfortunately, I can see no identifying marks on the existing parts. Is it possible to tell which replacements would be needed for the pivot shoe (or whole balancer assembly) and tilt latch from these pictures? Also, how would one go about getting the old balancer out of the channel when it's so much bigger than the cut out in the track? I attempted to remove just the double spring cover, but I couldn't find a way to manipulate it out of the opening since it has dimensions wider and longer than the opening. Thank you!

Thanks for posting. This Simonton Balance system is unfortunately no longer made, but you can replace it with the 15-259 Pivot Shoe and Series 159 Coil Balance springs. The video below shows how. Let us know if you have further questions.

For the tilt latches, see if the 26-243A and 26-244A match what you have.
