Channel balance

Hey there. Can you show me photos of the rest of the guts, or underside, of the metal channel? Some balances from the west coast have a special design we must account for. Once we determine what the issue is here we can move this along.

Perfect, thanks. I believe this is either an S380-17 or S385-17, depending on the depth of the bottom shoe. See below. Measure your old balance's shoe depth to see what matches best. For a stamp option choose 1620.

This looks like either an S380-20 or S385-20, depending again on the bottom shoe depth. Based on the photo your balance's shoe may be deeper than 1", but it is very tough to tell from photos of measuring tape, so check multiple times to see. For a stamp option in either case go with 1950.
