CertainTeed Balance Spring Cover

Question

I do not have pictures of this part installed. I'm helping someone else. This is part of a balance assembly for a CertainTeed brand tilt-out window. The part I'm focused on has the codes H65 & 32/3M on it.
I'm looking for these covers in a left and a right, and if I need to buy whole assemblies to get what I'm looking for, that's fine.
For the record, the spring in this part is stamped 408 J, if that helps identify it.

Hey there,

Thanks for writing in! Your coil balance cover is no longer made, unfortunately. The only replacement option we have would be to replace the entire assembly.

I believe the 15-259 Coil Balance Pivot Shoe will work in place of your CertainTeed Shoe. We typically suggest this for Simonton assemblies, but since we have used the CertainTeed shoe in place of the Simonton shoes in the past, I believe it could work. The compatible cover is the 15-255 Coil Single Support.

You'll also need to replace the pivot bars (26-083) and the coils (S159-08). Please see the video tutorial below for a detailed explanation on the conversion. Feel free to reach out with any questions.
