Hello,

So I have a part from your company. It does not have a part number just a patent no 3,596,954. When I googled it came up to your company and listed part Number 82-005. So I ordered it. Well got in in the mail on Friday, ITS NOT THE RIGHT PART. You sent me a surface mount door handle. MINE IS NOT FOR A SURFACE. Your locking device goes INSIDE my sliding glass door, with the locking part inside the door. If I needed a surface one I can get one from Home Depot. I need to return this item and get a new one out to me please!! I am not able to lock my door. Have a stick in door frame. Please let me know what part number needs to be ordered.I am going to stop by my local hardware store and take your item with me to see if they can order something similar that will work on my door.

Your handle appears to match our 82-033. As for the mortise lock, see our 82-211, or perhaps the 82-214, which has a deeper back set.

For future reference, we do not advise using patent numbers to identify hardware. Patent numbers tend to cover a wide range of products, and are not meant to be used for identification purposes.
