Hello,

The Unique window balance company that manufactured your balance has gone out business. We believe the metal channel of your balance is 31" long. If so, order our S795-31 with a 31C option as long as you sash falls between 19-24 pounds. Thank you!

A home owner from Manchester, NH 03103 says:
The metal part of the channel is exactly 30". Still the same part?

Paul from SWISCO responded:

Thank you for confirming the length of your balance for us. I was under the impression that the Unique balances measured 1" more than the stamp number, but that is clearly not the case in your situation. Based on this new information, I recommend our S795-30 with a 30C spring strength option that also supports 19-24 pounds.

Our S795 balances also move up and down the jamb but I think you're referring to the screw tab at the end of the pulley on our balances. We'll need to see the spot where your hook installs in the jamb to determin the best way to proceed. You may need a 26-200 screw tab to fill in the hold where your hook installs and create a space to screw in the tab on our balances.

My current channel slides up and down with the sash. Do I just not screww the top of yours in?

Your third picture shows the area that we need to see but you'll need to remove the piece of plastic blocking the area where the hook installs. We just need to see the shape of the hole that the hook goes into. Thank you!
