1/2" Coil Balance

Question

I have a 1/2" coil balance that's stamped with "C". What would be the number equivalent for the required replacement.

Your original pivot shoe was recently discontinued but the 15-177 is a confirmed replacement. This shoe works with the same Series 152 coil springs as your original pivot shoe.

Since the C stamped on your coil differs from our strength options, I would recommend weighing the sash and dividing the weight by the number of coils on both sides to choose the corresponding strength options. For new coil spring covers, see the 15-143, 15-144, or 15-145. Thanks for posting!
