Would you please specify the exact replacement part number for my existing window balance? The markings on the existing balance appear to be "19 4 BV CMC 7" if that helps. Thank you.

Thanks for posting. It appears both nylon attachments originally had 'wings', or side tabs. Please confirm. If so, this is either an S380-20 or S385-20 Channel Balance. The only difference between these two balances is the 'depth' of the bottom nylon shoe, as shown below. Measure your old balance's shoe depth to see what matches best. For a stamp option choose 1940.

Thanks. It looks like mine would be the S385 because the bottom is slightly larger than an inch. The existing balances do, in fact, have wings. When looking at ordering this product, it asks for a "weight." How do I know what weight I need? Can I tell the weight by any of the digits that exist on the old balances?

The weight is the stamp option. Go with 1940, which accords with your balance's old stamp of 19-4.

And yes, since both fittings have wings and the shoe is a little deeper than 1", the Series 385 sounds best. Let us know if you have further questions!
