14447 Pivot bar and coil balance

Question

Window is associated materials need pivot bar 21/4 inches it will fit into the 15-177 shoe also will replace the coil balance existing is stamped 10 the window weighs 20 lbs. I have used your s152 coils on other smaller windows but I don't see any s152-10 thanks for your help

Thanks for posting! We don't have this exact pivot bar, since it's no longer made, but a couple customers in the past have successfully used our 26-226 as a substitute. Look it over and see what you think. This will fit in the 15-177 pivot shoe.

As for the 10 pound Series 152, I'm afraid we aren't able to supply this strength option at this time. The only thing I can recommend is using two S152-5 springs on each side. These will add up to the same weight support, but they'll be a little trickier to get in the track since the balance assembly will be longer. You'll also need new covers for the extra springs; I recommend our 15-143 and 15-144 caps, as well as our 15-154 bushing. These kind of sandwich over the spring. Sorry we couldn't get you the stronger option!
