15-046 Pivot Shoe cam not turning all the way

Question

I ordered these as replacement parts for my vinyl windows, however the light brown circular pivot that the Pivot bar fits into only pivots about a 1/4 of an inch then it appears to hang up. Please explain .... did I get bad parts are is this the way the Pivot shoe is suppose to work. It fits in everyway but I am afraid to pivot the window..... an explanation would be
appreciated. Thank you!

Thanks for posting. When are you trying to tilt the pivot shoe? It's important to raise the window a few inches before you try tilting it, or else it could break. That may account for why its hanging up. Otherwise, there isn't really any trick to these. If you're still having problems, show me a picture of the 15-046 you purchased side by side with the original.
