Pivot Shoe, 1/2" Thick

I have some Silverline 1000 series double hung windows that I would like to replace the pivot shoes. They appear to match your 15-046. What tool do I need to remove the pivot shoe? I've looked at your various videos on your website (which are very helpful), and think I might need our 75-069. Can you ... (cont.)

My shoe has these exact dimensions, but the metal plate in the top of the show that holds the balance looks different. Will this 15-046 work?

I've determined what spiral balances I need, thanks to your site, and will be ordering these for at least three windows, along with your charging tool. However, is there now an easy way to get my darn sash back into my frame? The 15-046 pivot shoes lock in place, obviously, when I rotate the socket ... (cont.)

I have sized my current (broken) pivot shoes to match the above pivot shoe (15-046), although the style is very different. My question is will these shoes fit most windows? Are the notched openings in the bottom a standard size?
