Does the pivot shoe 15-192 work fit with the pivot bar 26-336 ?

Thanks for posting. The 26-336 might fit the 15-192, but you'd have to shave down the collar to get it to fit the cam. Note that you likely have a Simonton window, where the older shoe is actually different from the Certainteed 15-192, even though they look very similar. The 15-192 does not fit Simonton windows easily, and for that reason we have a substitute solution. Let me know if you need to replace the pivot shoe and I can explain further.

This old Simonton coil balance system, that uses a shoe that looks like the Certainteed 15-192, is no longer made; customers tell us the 15-192 does not work well as a replacement for this situation. Because of this, we devised a substitute. The 15-259 Pivot Shoe will fit your window (and you'll use a new pivot bar, the 26-083). However you'll also need to replace the coil springs with the Series 159. The video below explains. Let me know if you have questions.

On series 159 coil spring what weigth would I need? The old spring is stamped 10J (single coil)

That's a bit tricky, since the Series 159 spring weights come in X-1/2 pound increments. The best thing to do is to weigh the window sash these springs support. Give me that exact weight and I can work it out for you.
