1950s House

Question

I have a few windows that havent been replaced and they do not stay up. There are two which i have pictured by approximate width and height. (they do not come out, or at least i dont know how to get them out. The part that attaches to base of window, i dont recognize on any of your pictures. I'm looking to get some replacements, just not sure what to get. Any help would be greatly apprecitated... Mike

Your old-style balances with the bracket fixed to the balance are no longer available, but we often suggest the (5/8") S500 spiral balances and 17-012 brackets to replace them. There is a chart on the balance product page that explains how to choose your color option based on the sash weight. Thanks for posting!
