1968 Arcadia sliding glass doors

Question

Do you have parts? The plastic thumb latch (red arrow in pic) on some is broken. I can activate the mechanism with a flat screwdriver through the round hole in the side. Looking for replacement Arcadia parts OR entire handle/lock that would be a suitable replacement. Last resort: A separate lock/latch.

Thank you for your patience during this busy season. Take a look at the 82-250 latch lever, which is used on Arcadia patio doors. See if this is the one you need to fit your patio handle. I recommend removing the original lever to verify.

To be honest, most parts for you older door are no longer available. If the 82-250 ends up not being a match then you might need to replace the complete handle set with something like the 82-005. The video below will show you how this can be done.
