The springs are attached to the lower window by a plastic part which broke. Need to replace the springs and plastic parts and the metal attachment to the window

Thanks for your submission, Peter. The friction shoe we believe you are looking for is our 15-104. Take a look to see if this is correct. You will need to remove both sashes and jamb liner to slide out the spring and broken carrier. From there, reverse the procedure to put everything back together. The tilt pin attached to your sash should be our 20-016. Look over both parts mentioned to see if these are the correct ones for you.
