1991 Marvin double hung window balance, 24XHD

A handy person from Binghamton New York says:
I have 2 windows that need all new balances. I assume there are 4 balances per window (top and bottom). Please verify. Attached are pics of one of the balances with part number 24XHD. The tube is 25 inches long. Can you tell me what replacement part I should order

I sure can! I recommend our S751-25 channel balance. This comes fully assembled with a 25" long ribbed metal channel and a 15-014 shoe, which I think you'll agree matches your setup pretty well.

The only thing I'm not sure about is the stamp. That "X" is what's throwing me off. I believe you'll need either the 24HD stamp or the 24TG stamp. I recommend weighing your sash on a scale and referring to the chart we have on the S751-25 store page. That will tell you exactly what you need.
