2001 Simonton Coil Cover

A home owner from Union, Kentucky says:
Great Website. I have two 26-243 (white) tilt latches in my cart.
Attached is a picture of a coil cover for my 2001 Simonton window. I am not sure of the correct name or nomenclature of this part (please advise). The window works perfectly but the plastic coil cover looks terrible. I have several windows where the plastic covers have deteriorated like shown in the picture. Is it possible to just purchase a new plastic cover? If so, do you have a video showing how to replace this assembly? Or just the cover? Thanks! Tom in Kentucky

Hi- thanks so much for posting!

We have a similar nylon coil spring cover. Take a look at our 15-204 for 3/8" coil springs. Please see if you have 3/8" depth coil springs. I pulled up a media guide for you on how to replace a coil balance that I think will be helpful as well.
