2009 reliabilit window

Handy Person from Milton Fl
Need replacement parts for 2009 reliabilit widows. Bottom sash on 9 windows & top sash on one window. Windows doesn't stay up. I believe the band coils are bad. Just need to know what I need to fix the problem. Thanks

Thank you very much for your patience during this busy season.

We don't sell an exact match for this shoe, but you could consider the 15-177. This is 9/16" thick and 1-1/4" wide, so you'll want to confirm the specifications of the old shoe to ensure a good fit.

The compatible springs are the S152 (sold separately). Check the old springs for a weight code to determine what weights you'll need. If there are no codes, please feel free to get back to us with the sash weight and we can calculate that for you. Note that the springs are designed to screw to the side of the shoe with the 33-072 (sold separately).

If you need a new pivot bar, take a look at the specifications of the 26-241 and see if they match your repair needs.

Please let us know if you have any questions.

Thank you!

I was hoping the sash weight wouldn't be this heavy. For the S152 springs, we don't recommend using more than two springs per side, so this will be an issue given the sash weight.

With this in mind, we recommend considering the S140-22 assembly instead. This is 9/16" thick and 1-1/4" wide. A pair of 22-pound assemblies (sold individually) will support a sash weighing 43 to 44.99 pounds. Take a look at the specifications and see what you think.
